Antoine Griezmann continues to make the difference at Atlético de Madrid. An incontestable header from the French footballer in the second half of the match was enough for the red and white team to beat RCD Mallorca at the Civitas Metropolitano and continue to tighten the fight for the league title.

The French footballer continues to date with history and today surpassed Adrián Escudero as the second top scorer in the club's history alone with 170 goals, just three away from equaling the figure achieved by Luis Aragonés (173).

Mallorca, for its part, remains on the brink of relegation after this defeat although, like the red and white team, with one game less than its predecessors, Celta, Granada and Almería, who currently occupy the relegation positions second division.
