[Auto] Kia presents the changes that the Carnival 2025 will bring in Korea

Between teasers and leaks made in different media, much of the information about the facelift that will align the Kia Carnival with the rest of the Korean brand's new models is already known. Considering how strong the influence of the "opposites united" design language has been, some cars that were lost in the transition quickly catch up with their most recent iteration, the same one carried by all the brand's electric models.

In the case of Carnival, the intricate design of the "tiger nose" grille and the luminous outline that shaped the lights is modified by a much straighter and more imposing grille, flanked by two vertical spotlights and the new lighting signature of the mark, the "star map." The influence of Hyundai's square shapes also seems to have reached Kia, with the redesign of the wheels, which would not look out of place on an eighties model.

Behind, a less utilitarian and more futuristic design was chosen, which includes the redesign of the rear lights with a vertical addition, the relocation of the Kia license plate and insignia, plus a new bumper. In some versions (the Gravity package) 19" black wheels, dark chrome elements and sill plates are also visible, which complement a design that seems to have more of the robustness of an SUV than the fluidity of an MPV.

Inside, the materials have been improved for a more luxurious look and some elements have been updated, although nothing in a very radical way. For example, the panoramic panel today has a more regular shape (without a visor for the cluster) and incorporates two 12.3" screens with more modern interfaces. The main button panel, the power button and the air conditioning were also updated for a more modern look. more minimalist.

Many technologies that we have already seen in more modern Kias are also beginning to be integrated into Carnival, at least with availability in the Korean market. These include:
