His objective was to deceive the buyer with an imitation that was quite real and difficult to figure out, except for a small detail. The speed of this storage unit was about 7 times lower than the original, so… the fact that it was fake spoke for itself.

It must be said that physically they are the same, and that they could perfectly be passed off as real, but there would have to be some difference to cost 7 times less than it should, and that is precisely what it is, 7 times less speed. So if you want to show off having a 990 pro SSD, go ahead, but come on, you'd better use even a simple USB stick. If you want a really fast drive, forget it.

 

 

This imitation reaches speeds of up to 1000 MB/s and 628 MB/s, when the original is 7,450 / 6,900 MB/s, so we can see a good difference.

And the worst thing is not that we had a fake SSD that was 7 times slower, since, at least, we paid those 7 times less. The problem is that, after several uses, it died, leaving us with a paperweight, so, in addition to being of little use, it was poorly made.

The moral is clear, everything you see on Asian websites at a ridiculous price may work in the same way, so always try to buy from websites that offer a guarantee, and remember that no one gives anything away. If you are going to buy something fake, let it be a t-shirt, at least you can use it for longer, but never something electronic.

For 40 euros you can buy SSDs on Amazon on many occasions and they will give you much higher quality than these. Especially now, with Black Friday and Christmas approaching, so if you came in thinking of getting a deal, you better keep looking.

Even on Amazon there are imitations, so do not trust any product purchased on this type of website, always verify for yourself that the quality and operation is adequate. Otherwise, it is best to go directly to the seller's official website.
