FNX Magokiler
Jaguar Land Rover is present at Experience E, debuting before the eyes of the press and the public the new Range Rover Velar PHEV, the plug-in hybrid version of the British brand's medium-sized SUV. It is worth remembering that the brand has begun a strong process of change, eliminating the Land Rover brand as it is known, and creating three new brands: Range Rover, Defender and Discovery. And this Velar belongs to the first, which will also soon become a 100% electric company. The Velar PHEV is the same one that we have known for a few years and that was updated in Chile in mid-2022. It measures 4,797 mm long, 2,147 mm wide and 1,683 mm high, with a wheelbase of 2,874 mm and a weight limited to 1.8 tons thanks to the extensive use of aluminum in 80% of its body. It also maintains space for 5 passengers and a 570-liter trunk. This year it received a new facelift that focuses on the front, with new headlights that include Pixel LED headlights and a redesigned grille. At the rear it has new LED taillights and a redesigned bumper, which hides the exhaust outlets. Inside, the new generation of the Pivi Pro infotainment system debuts, with an 11.4-inch touch screen that is combined with a digital instrument panel. It is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. In addition, you can receive remote OTA updates. It also equips a new wireless charger for mobile phones. Let's get to the novelty of this plug-in hybrid version, which the brand calls P400E. It combines a 2.0-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine with a small electric motor. The first delivers 300 Hp of power, while the electric motor develops 105 kW (143 Hp). Total power is 404 horsepower and 640 Nm of maximum torque. Attached is a 19.2 kWh lithium-ion battery, which allows it to declare an electric range of up to 64 kilometers according to the WLTP cycle. In electric mode it can reach a maximum speed of 140 km/h. Like the rest of the versions, the Velar P400E is managed by an eight-speed automatic gearbox and a four-wheel drive system. The value of this car is $120,900,000. https://noticias.autocosmos.cl/2023/10/12/experiencia-e-2023-el-estreno-del-range-rover-velar-phev
