In this sense, the report issued by the Comptroller's Office establishes that the municipality of Las Condes, “did not adjust the purchase of real estate to the principles of responsibility, efficiency, effectiveness, control and efficient and appropriate administration of public means and due compliance with public function.”

Following these findings from the Comptroller's Office, several councilors announced that “an administrative summary will be opened to determine responsibilities. In addition, a copy of the letter is sent to the Public Ministry and the State Defense Council, for the corresponding purposes."

 

 

The complaint from the commune councilors indicates that there were irregularities in the purchase of one of the 10 houses destined for the project, a transaction managed with Vulcon Asset Management, which sold the municipality a house for more than 24 thousand UF, when a A month earlier he had acquired it for 14 thousand UF.

Irregularities were found in the processing and the Comptroller's Office indicated in its report that "it is not possible to verify the regularity in the processing of the brokerage contract signed between the Municipality of Las Condes and Vulcon Asset Management SpA and the mayoral decree that approves it," since that present inconsistencies.

The mayor, for her part, through her X account, commented that the Comptroller's report “ratifies that the measures we have taken as a municipality, and I as mayor, are on the correct line. As I have mentioned, as I learned more about the background, we realized that there were serious administrative errors and that is why summaries have been filed and complaints have been filed."

What happened in Las Condes is similar to what happened in the municipality of Santiago, where an overcharge was also detected in the acquisition of a clinic, which has generated a series of investigations and complaints, as well as severe questioning of the mayor of said commune. , Irací Hassler (PC).
