FNX Magokiler
We have been talking for several weeks about the prices of the next generation of Intel Core processors that are about to drop. Some rumors pointed to a significant price increase, much greater than we might initially think. Well, thanks to a retail store we know that the Intel Raptor Lake Refresh will increase their prices by 4% compared to the previous generation. More and more users are purchasing a console to play games due to the constant increase in the price of components. Only SSDs and RAM have dropped in price in recent years, raising the price of processors, graphics, motherboards and power supplies. This makes many opt for cheap laptops, Mini PCs or desktop computers without dedicated graphics. They look for systems with components that allow them to work and navigate fluidly and opt for a PS5 or Xbox Series X to play. Acquiring a computer is starting to be a luxury The prices that have been leaked allow us to compare the 14th Generation Intel processors and the 13th Generation. A price increase that was foreseeable but appears to be lower than initially speculated. We know the price difference thanks to a Canadian retailer that has already listed the 14th Gen processors. This retailer indicates that the processors are up an average of 4.5% compared to the previous generation. Note that these are preliminary and could vary in the coming days. These would be the prices according to Canada Computers: We see that the only processor that does not increase in price is the Core i5-14600KF, while the rest do increase. The Core i5-14600K stands out, increasing its price by almost 7% and the Core i7-14700K, which increases its price by less than 2%. Then we will have to see the rest of the prices, since as you know, first Intel launches the K and KF models and then the rest of the models. Note that PC Canada, another retail store, has also published the prices of Intel Core processors. These range between 2.5-4%, with an average increase close to 3.5%. We are talking about half the price increase between both stores. The only thing they agree on is that the 14th Gen will have an irreparable price increase. This brings us closer to 1,000 euro processors, which begins to make no sense, since it raises the prices of the mid-range and, initially. https://hardzone.es/noticias/procesadores/posibles-precios-intel-core-14a-gen-raptor-lake-refresh/
