Citroën has presented in Paris its next launches in terms of electrified and sustainable mobility, some of which could land in Chile in the near future. There will be six new developments that will be added to the brand's catalog of ecological vehicles, all of them electrified versions of models already on sale, the most important being the debut of MHEV or light hybrid technology in Citroën. It is a 48-volt hybrid technology, coupling an efficient 136 HP PureTech gasoline engine with a 21 kW (28 HP) electric drive, offering a new driving experience by mixing high efficiency with emission-free handling. The range of electric sedans also receives new features, with the debut in the Citroën Ë-C4 and Ë‑C4 Its latest generation 54 kWh battery allows it to achieve a range of 420 km in the WLTP combined cycle, a figure that can increase on urban routes. The brand indicates that practical aspects have been worked on such as the battery charging speed, which has a fast mode that manages to add 100 kilometers of autonomy in 10 minutes if a 100 kW point with direct current is used. The C5 Aircross SUV and the C5 The PHEV 180 powertrain combines the power of a PureTech 150 gasoline engine, with an 81.2 kW (109 Hp) electric motor and an ë‑EAT8 automatic gearbox, which together deliver a power of 180 Hp. Its “ë-Save” function allows you to reserve electrical autonomy to activate it when necessary, with up to 55 km in the WLTP measurement cycle.
