Mortal Kombat 1 is now on sale and, as you know, the title has finally been released for both PS5, Xbox Series fighting since the 90s. Now, what happened to the game when it was launched for Nintendo's hybrid console? Is there a mess or something like that?

If you are a video game veteran since the 1980s, when several 8-bit microcomputers hit the market, each with its own technical capabilities, you surely remember how different a release was when it appeared on four platforms as disparate as the ZX. Spectrum, Commodore 64, Amstrad CPC or MSX. Some were better than others.

If you have PS4 and Xbox One, what are you waiting for?
The fact is that, bridging the temporal and technological distances with those systems, Mortal Kombat 1 has decided to reach the market exclusively for the most modern, most recent systems, leaving behind the old generation that are both PS4 and Xbox One. So surely, Some of that resentment over NetheRealm Studios' decision has had to do with the criticism that the Switch port is receiving.

And it has done so because users who still have a console from the previous generation do not understand how it is possible that Mortal Kombat 1 has arrived on Nintendo Switch and not on PS4 and Xbox One, when they are two machines with more power than the hybrid of the Japanese. We have to tell those gamers that it is the law of life. Their consoles have lasted too long after the launch of PS5 and Xbox Series X|S due to their lack of stock for two and a half years, so it is time for them to be updated.

And as expected, videos have appeared comparing the graphic quality on each platform, and there are some interesting assessments that we have to make. Because there is a very obvious jump in graphic quality in one of the versions.

Horrified with Mortal Kombat 1 on Switch
Indeed, if you take a look at the video above, you will see that Mortal Kombat 1 on Nintendo Switch is, by far, the worst of all the versions since, logically, it cannot be technologically compared to any of the other three. No matter how we look at it, on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S the title has the expected quality for such a wonderful reboot of the saga.

Another thing is in the Nintendo laptop, which exposes the seams of its limited graphical power, with a base of elements similar to that of its older sisters, but which is especially evident, due to its limited quality of textures, fluidity of movements and other graphic issues. So yes, we are faced with not only the worst version – which was logical to expect – but also the least seductive and attractive of all.

Of course, how else could you play Mortal Kombat 1 on Nintendo Switch? It is evident that there is a lot of distance but in exchange for that cut, you will be able to do your battles when you are waiting for the bus at the stop. And do you think those who have a PS5 or an Xbox Series X|S will be able to do that? Well that. The one by the other.
