Poisonous animals
Main article: Poisonous animal
The most po[CENSORED]r and common poisonous animals are spiders, snakes, scorpions, and jellyfish. In addition to these large groups there are others, less numerous, such as some myriapods, some frogs and fish, some insects and other animals. For an adequate medical response, animal poisons must be recognized in order to facilitate the diagnosis and administer the appropriate antidote or curative solution. Most poisonous species have bright colors or other features that indicate their danger, this characteristic is called aposematism.

Poisonous spiders
See also: Spider taxonomy and antiserum.

Most spiders are poisonous but only a few are dangerous to humans. It is also possible that low-venomous spiders exceptionally cause anaphylactic shock in certain people. When faced with a spider bite considered dangerous, the toxicological responses must be known depending on the characteristics of the spider venom.
