Ubisoft has premiered a trailer showcasing the flashy graphics and PC features of “Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora,” the major first-person open-world action-adventure game set within James Cameron’s sci-fi franchise. Set after the events of the first film though relatively standalone, players take control of a Na’vi orphan raised and trained as a soldier by the RDA, before being put into suspended animation and waking up fifteen years later in an abandoned facility. The player must embark on a journey across the Western Frontier, a never-before-seen continent of Pandora, discovering their origins and organizing the local Na’vi tribes to fight back against the RDA as they attempt to exploit the natural resources of the Western Frontier.

The game is a collaboration between Disney and James Cameron’s production company, Lightstorm Entertainment and has been developed to maximize the power of new-gen consoles and PC.

The game takes advantage of High Core Count Processors and reportedly has been optimized to perform on lower specs and high-end PCs alike – aiming for stable FPS and low latency across all setups.

There’s PC benchmark tools, AMD FSR and NVIDIA DLSS, multiple resolution and aspect ratios including ultra-wide support, raytraced reflections and shadows,

“Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora” will be available on December 7th on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Amazon Luna.
