His practice combines horse riding with various forms of rodeo, equestrian activities and traditional forms of the cattle raising. In Mexico, Charrería is considered a sport national par excellence since it was registered in the National Sports Commission. It is done in "Canvases Charros" which are facilities specially designed for your practice together with a horse and rider called "charro". Brief history of the charreria It has roots in the states of Hidalgo and Jalisco, becoming one of the Mexican traditions most representative of our culture. As Equestrian school, originates in the plains of Apán in Hidalgo and after passing the Mexican Revolution to beginning of the 20th century, it is considered as National sport when the former landowners emigrate to cities like Mexico City and Guadalajara, where they begin to organize in associations that gradually spread throughout throughout the country giving rise to the Organized Charrería.
