Genshin Impact (Chinese: 原神; pinyin: Yuán Shén, Japanese: 原神, romanized: Genshin) is a free-to-play, open-world action role-playing game with a gacha monetization mechanic to earn additional items such as characters . specials and weapons. For example, hydro causes "wet", or cryo causes "cold". When these two elements are combined, it causes the enemy to freeze temporarily, which the player can take advantage of to attack. Changing the characters during the battles to create elemental reactions is the main attraction of the game.

Genshin Impact allows multiplayer for up to four players, in cooperative mode. In this case, the host is required to have the same or lower world level than the other players. If there are two players, each will have two characters; If there are three, everyone will have a character except for the leader, who can use two; If there are four players, each one will use a single character. Changing characters mid-battle is not allowed.

The cooking system is another important feature of the game. Players can collect ingredients obtained during the adventure, as well as recipes to cook various dishes that restore health, revive a fallen character in battle, or provide attack and defense bonuses.

At the beginning, the player can choose one of two traveling twin brothers (anemo), as the main character.
