The victim tried to help a colleague who disobeyed the prohibition to leave the vehicle during an argument with the driver

 

A woman has died after a tiger attack on a safari near the city of Beijing, this Saturday, after trying to help a colleague. The victim was part of a group of five other people who made the route in a private vehicle, in the Badaling Safari World park, about 60 kilometers from the Chinese capital. One of the visitors argued with the driver and got out of the car to get behind the wheel of her, when she was surprised by a cat, which pounced on her and dragged her several meters, the local CCTV channel has reported. The other passengers got out of the car to help her, which caused another woman to be attacked by another tiger. The latter died from her injuries.

The complex offers the chance to see different species of wild animals up close, such as tigers, wolves or giraffes, while visitors ride in private cars or on park buses, always under the warning not to get out of the vehicles. The Badaling Safari World has been closed until the investigation of the facts is finished.
