FNX Magokiler
One of the hottest news of the summer in the video game landscape is that Baldur's Gate 3 has moved up its release date on PC, where it will be playable starting on August 3. Now, Larian Studios has updated the list of minimum and recommended requirements to be able to play on PC through the Steam platform (where, by the way, it will work with Remote Play), so below we are going to list and comment on them to see what PC you would need to be able to play decent. After seeing the latest announcements around Baldur's Gate 3, there is no doubt that Larian Studios has "delivered" a real monstrosity, an entire role-playing game based on Dungeons & Dragons that will continue and expand the success of the franchise, and Hand in hand with the studio responsible for titles such as Divinity: Original Sin 2, which at the time topped the list of best-selling games for almost a year. Baldur's Gate 3: minimum and recommended requirements on PC The good news is that, despite the fact that the graphics of Baldur's Gate 3 have been renewed and improved to adapt them to the new generations of PC and consoles (remember that it will also come out later for PS5 and, theoretically, also on Xbox consoles, although for the latter there is still no defined release date), the Larian Studios graphics engine is quite light and, as such, does not require excessively powerful hardware on PC (do not think that it can work in a toaster, now it is we see). Thus, according to the requirements for Baldur's Gate 3 on Steam, at least we will need an Intel Core i5-4690 / AMD FX-8350 processor to be able to play, processors that already have a tradition and that show that the title will not "pull" a lot of processor. In addition to this, we will need to have 8 GB of RAM and a GTX 970 / RX 480 with 4 GB dedicated to video, all this to move the title to Full HD resolution. Regarding the recommended requirements, Larian tells us that to fully enjoy Baldur's Gate 3 we will need to have an Intel Core i7-8700K or an AMD Ryzen 5 3600, processors that are more modern but are still mid-range. Along with these, we would need to have 16 GB of RAM, which is already the standard in any gaming PC, as well as a GTX 2060 SUPER / RX 5700 XT with 8 GB of VRAM, graphics that are also more modern but have been on the market for a few years. And they are quite accessible. The SSD is "mandatory" Another fact to keep in mind is that the developer says that the SSD will be mandatory. In fact, we can already tell you that it is NOT mandatory, literally speaking, and if you have a conventional mechanical disk, the game will work just the same, but since it is a very heavy title in terms of storage (requires 150 GB), if you do not have an SSD the The gaming experience will be greatly diminished due to the long waiting times on the loading screens, no more and no less. And watch out for the console version; Both the PS5 and Xbox have SSDs, but the capacity of these is quite low and with the 150 GB that Baldur's Gate 3 occupies, the demand for additional and external SSDs is likely to skyrocket to accommodate the size of the game. We will see. In short, Baldur's Gate 3 is one of the most anticipated games this year, especially for lovers of this style of game and, of course, of the franchise, and it is excellent news that its system requirements are not very high because this means that users with fairly old PCs will be able to play without any problem. https://hardzone.es/noticias/equipos/requisitos-baldurs-gate-3/
