Towards the end of 2022 we learned that the Ford F-150, a pick-up whose current generation dates from 2020, is close to being renewed. At that time, we met photos taken of test units, whose thick camouflage prevented us from seeing the changes that the best-selling pick-up in the world will have.

For the past month, it's been an F-150 Raptor that's been on display, except that it's been a little more stripped down. Now, US media released images of another F-150, closer to the base version and also without any camouflage, which allows us to clearly appreciate the modifications that the pick-up will receive.

From Ford Authority they revealed photos taken in tests that the "Oval" is carrying out in some city in the United States. Although the unit belongs to the Platinum version, comparing it with what was seen days ago in the F-150 Raptor gives us an idea of the variants that the entire range of the full-size truck will have.

Specifically, the novelties that are repeated are located in the optical group: the front receives modifications in the "L" of LED, which becomes divided, and whose vertical bar is now quite straight; the rear adopts a design similar to that of the F-150 Lightning, losing the “C” that bordered it.

 

Specifically, the version adds the name of the variant to the tip of the hood, renews the grille framework, adds smaller auxiliary and LED lights to the front bumper, and incorporates the word "F- 150" on center. We will have to wait to find out if the brand will make the same changes to the rest of the range.

2024 Ford F-150: What else is known?
In addition to the exterior changes, the facelift of the F-150 is expected to include new features inside.

For example, it would adopt a multimedia screen in vertical format, such as the aforementioned F-150 Lightning already has, from which a new system provided by Google would be activated.

For now there is no official confirmation about the unveiling of this update, although it is expected to be presented during this second semester as a 2024 model.
