[Auto] Ford unveils off-road ready Mach-E at Goodwood

Still camouflaged and without performance figures, the brand will launch a more off-road version of its electric SUV on the market

Ford is taking his return to the world of competition very seriously.

First, he teamed up with Red Bull to return to Formula One as a driver from 2026, and then he teased us a Mustang GT3 with which he wants to return to the Endurance and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. And as if that were not enough, he has helped develop the Ranger with which he wants to attack the Dakar.

But now, the brand is taking advantage of its presence at the Goodwood Festival of Speed to present something slightly different: a Mustang Mach-E prepared for the world of off-road, simply called Ford Mustang Mach-E Rally, and aimed at markets normal and not as a competition car.

Although he paraded through Goodwood in full camouflage, as seen in our photos, there are some new things to be seen at this Mach-E Rally.

Aesthetically, it has some new elements on the body to give it an authentic off-road look.

 

 

Such as a new bumper with hook included, a closed grille with two new circular lights, a redesigned splitter, a large rear spoiler, fenders and specific tires. , and off-road tires.

Inside, it closely resembles the Mustang Mach-E GT introduced a while back, but features specific bucket seats, a lower-spoke steering wheel painted in the same shades as the seat, special stitching, and several specific trim items.

Of the mechanical numbers there is nothing official yet, neither how much power, nor size of the battery, nor levels of autonomy.

Not even if you use any specific suspension setup.

Ford indicates that the Mach-E Rally will be available in Europe and the United States, although it does not confirm the date.
