[Politics] Minister Tohá defends Jackson: assures that "several limits" have been crossed

The Minister of the Interior, Carolina Tohá, supported her Social Development counterpart, Giorgio Jackson, due to the criticism she has received in recent times, considering that her party, Revolución Democrática, is involved in the Agreements case, and in particular, those received by his sister, Carmen Gloria Jackson, who works at the Programa Presente foundation. “The way in which the family of Minister Jackson has been persecuted is very impressive. I think a limit has been crossed,” she said.

The Minister of the Interior, Carolina Tohá, supported and defended the Minister of Social Development, Giorgio Jackson, from the criticism he has received in recent times, considering that his party, the Democratic Revolution, is involved in the Agreements case.

In conversation with Radio Duna, Minister Tohá pointed out that "several limits have been crossed" since his family "is being persecuted."

“The way in which the family of Minister Jackson has been persecuted is very impressive.

 

 

I believe that a limit has been crossed, I am not referring to the call, but in that matter I believe that there is a rather delicate point that has been excessive and repeated," he said, referring to the call that the minister made to the host of the program “Sin Filtros”, Gonzalo Feito, where he asked not to talk about his family, particularly his sister, Carmen Gloria Jackson, who works at the Programa Presente foundation.

Regarding the "limits", she explained that it refers to "that people who do not have public office are being persecuted."

"In the case of Minister Jackson, I think several limits have been crossed, he has been accused of being the head of a group of an illicit association, tremendous things have been said, really," he added.

"I could have many reasons, more than many of the current critics of Minister Jackson, to have a grudge against him, in politics you can have criticism, you can have complicated feelings, but you can't use that as an excuse to transform a person into a scapegoat for everything, I think that, really, a limit has been crossed there ”, he closed.
