• Other Information: Victoria Corneva (Cahul, Republic of Moldova, February 18, 1986), known by her stage name Vika Jigulina, is a Romanian singer, producer, DJ and composer. Born in Moldova, more precisely in Cahul and daughter of a Russian father and a Moldovan mother, Vika was raised between the two countries, having dual nationality.
• In 2000, after graduating from Rachmaninov, Russia's music school, Vika moved to the city of Timişoara, in Romania, where she began her work as a DJ and producer, working in various clubs and nightclubs in Timişoara and also in the city of Bucharest, capital of Romania, even winning a weekly program on the radio station Deea Romania and later on another station, VIBE FM, where he created his national recognition for his work with music. In the following years, Vika Jigulina became a reference in working with Progressive Trance, mixing with Steve Murrano, ATB, Tom Craft, DOX DJ, Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso and other Romanian artists.
• In 2006 she participated in the House Parade, a Romanian electronic music festival, where she performed again in 2007, the same year she participated in the Liberty Parade, DJing again in 2008, in addition to the Arenele Romane festival. In the same year, Vika also meets DJ and producer Edward Maya, with whom she starts composing and mixing work in the following year, 2009.
• On October 19, 2009 Vika launches in partnership with Edward Maya the first single of both, entitled Stereo Love. The song soon established itself as a great success, reaching number one in around ten countries, such as France, Spain, Finland and Ireland, in addition to other good positions within the top ten in the countries where it was released. The video for Stereo Love was seen by 49 million people on Youtube, in just 8 months of release, also earning a nomination for the NRJ Music Awards, as the best song of the year.
• In July 2010, This Is My Life, the second single in partnership with Edward Maya, is released in countries like Romania and France. Officially, the single has not yet started sales, but it has already reached the second position in France, the seventh in Romania and the fourth in Belgium.
