Following the welcoming party, the First Lady was invited to a traditional Moroccan reception. Jill Biden is visiting Morocco with her daughter, Ashley Biden, and her sister, Bobby Jacobs. Her visit to Morocco is part of a six-day trip to the Middle East, North Africa, and Europe, where she will focus on promoting women and youth empowerment. Before arriving in Morocco, Biden visited the capital of Jordan, Amman, where she attended the wedding of Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II on June 1.
