-CosmiNNe
Enermax at Computex announced quite a lot of products and this included a very unique Power Supply Unit (PSU) as well. The Platimax Gemini from Enermax is the world's first PSU that is compatible not only with the current ATX 3.0 standard but also with the upcoming ATX 12VO standard. This would make it the perfect PSU for people that just want to buy a PSU once and then forget about it for the next 5-7 years. The Platimax Gemini features 1200 watts of power and is 80 plus platinum certified. It comes with a 600W PCIe 5.0 native cable and can reach 74% efficiency at 2% load. It is also compliant with the CCC 5000M certification - which is a Chinese certification designed for medical and aviation use and really speaks to the reliability of the product. It also has the standed ECO intelligent overload /over heat/ over current et all protections and has a passively cooled design when loads are below 60%. The PSU has been tested up to an operating temperature of 50c (and could probably operate much higher than that) and has a 150x150x86mm design. Apart from the Platimax, Enermax also revealed the D.F.X, which has a dust-free coating on the blades which the company calls the Dust-Free Rotation or DFR technology preventing the accumulation of dust on the blades. It RGB and a 600W 12VHPWR cable as well as an extra dual 8 pin to 12VHPWR cable adapter. The company also revealed the LIQTECH TR4 II and LIQMAXFLO AIO coolers. The first one has been verified by Intel for use with its workstation processors in Xeon Sapphire Rapids and the mounting kits are designed with the Intel W3400 and W2400 in mind. That said, it fully supports the AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO processors as well including the sWRX8 /sTRX4 / TR4 /SP3 sockets. The second AIO, the LIQMAXFLO has an ARGB VRM fan and also has a very nifty feature: it has airflow redirection to cool the VRMs surrounding the CPU. Considering this is a very critical part of cooling that AIOs typically lack in (air coolers automatically cool this part too due to the airflow) - it would be a very useful feature to have for those planning to overclock their PCs. The company also introduced the Cable Master 20 - which includes rear-mounted motherboard installation - as well as the MarbleShell Apex Marble MS32 - which is a modular PC case featuring removable top radiator and fan brackets. https://wccftech.com/enermax-launches-the-worlds-first-psu-compatible-with-both-atx-3-0-and-next-gen-atx12vo-standards/
