MERNIZ Posted May 15, 2023 Posted May 15, 2023 The British firm has registered 3 new names in the United States: Adventurer, Hurricane and Street Tracker. The future machines of the Triumph-Bajaj alliance? Triumph, known for its medium and large displacement motorcycles, wants to explore other horizons: the electric motorcycle with the Triumph TE-1 , motocross and neo-retro small and medium displacement in collaboration with the Indian giant Bajaj . On this last point, leaks and stolen photos are on the net, to the point of imagining that the fruits of this alliance will be presented shortly. Triumph Adventurer, Hurricane and Street Tracker The names recently registered in the United States - Adventurer, Hurricane and Street Tracker - would they designate the future Indo-British motorcycles ? Mystery ! Originally the Adventurer was a 900cc custom/cruiser marketed in the 90s until 2001. It was based on the Triumph Thunderbird of the same era. The X-75 Hurricane was also a cruiser - which has become legendary - produced in small quantities for the American market in the 1970s. As for the Street Tracker, can we imagine - at random - a "Flat Track" scrambler with the Triumph logo ? So many questions for so few answers. Although nothing is established yet, it is likely that these new denominations relate to future motorcycles of the Triumph-Bajaj alliance. They would thus distinguish themselves from the "premium" motorcycles of the firm, such as the Bonneville, Speed Twin and other Scramblers. In any case, if we consider the success of Royal Enfield, the return of BSA and the forthcoming arrival of Triumph, the battle promises to be tough in the segment of small and medium-sized Indian-English cars ! https://www.motomag.com/Triumph-preparerait-3-nouvelles-motos.html
