The GodFather Posted May 11, 2023 Posted May 11, 2023 Rabat - Israeli strikes have killed 13 Palestinians in Gaza despite uproar and backlash, urging Israel government to abort acts that could trigger more escalation in the Israeli-Palestine conflict. Palestine’s authority condemned the attacks carried out from the night of Monday to Tuesday, describing the situation as a “dangerous Israeli escalation.” The list of victims includes four women and four children. “We condemn this dangerous escalation against our people, which targeted children, women and homes in the Gaza strip and the West Bank, including Jerusalem, the latest of which was the killing of 13 civilians, including women and children, in the Gaza strip, ad the injury of 13 people from bullets in Nablus,” presidential spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeineh said. He also conveyed Palestine’s warning, holding the Israeli government “fully responsible for this dangerous escalation.” Palestine Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh echoed the same remarks, describing Israeli attacks as a horrific massacre. Shtayyeh accused Israeli troops of carrying out an organized state terrorism to export the internal crisis that Israel suffers from to Palestine. “The aggression was a practical translation of the doctrine of killing, incineration, and genocide, which those in power in Israel have long professed,” he added. The Palestinian government also urged the UN to condemn Israeli troop’s aggression against the Gaza strip. Avichay Adraee, the Israeli army's spokesperson for Arab media, said Tuesday’s operation, dubbed “shield and arrow,” was a “strong message that whoever fires rockets Sdreot and the Gaza periphery in broad daylight, or directs sabotage operations against Israeli citizens, will not be and will not remain immune.” Israeli troops carried out a series of attacks and provocations, and many in the international community have repeatedly raised concerns over the continued escalation. In April, Israeli troops repeatedly raided the Al-Aqsa mosque, carrying out violent attacks and arbitrary arrests against hundreds of Palestinians. The attacks took place amid the holy month of Ramadan, when people gather for special prayers.
