  Hassan Emilio Kabande Laija (Zapopan, Jalisco, June 15, 1999), known as Peso Pluma, is a Mexican regional singer. He specializes in the corridos tumados subgenre.

  His international fame began in 2022, after collaborating with singers such as Luis R. Conriquez and Natanael Cano and Eslabón Armado. Some of his hits are "El Belicón", "Siempre pending", "PRC", "Por las noches", "AMG", "Ella baila sola" and "La bebé (Remix)". Due to his fame he has achieved also collaborate with globally successful artists such as Becky G, Nicki Nicole, Marshmello, and Ovy on the Drums.

  His musical style is characterized by an acoustic touch with influences from urban music such as trap mixed with the sound of corridos. His debut single "Relajado voy" was released in January 2020, but failed to chart on music sales and po[CENSORED]rity charts. His first album was live, called Disco en Vivo (Live) and was released in February 2020 through the independent label El Cartel de los Ángeles. The same year his debut studio album Ah y Qué? was released. His second studio album Efectos Secundarios was released in 2021 and three singles from it were promoted; «A thousand stories», «With money the dog dances» and «What you give me». That year he released his second live album Disco en Vivo, Vol. 2 (Live). At the beginning of 2022, he published the single "El Belicón" with Raúl Vega, his first success on streaming platforms and digital sales, the song received a multi-platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in the United States after selling 480 thousand units. In August, she premiered her hit "Siempre pending" with Luis R Conriquez from Sonora, a controversial song since she was accused of being an apology for crime. The single sold 300,000 copies in the United States and has accumulated more than 210 million views in the Spotify platform.

  In January 2023, he collaborated with the singer of corridos tumbados Natanael Cano on the song "PRC", a single that topped the Spotify charts in Mexico and part of Latin America.

  In March of the same year, the singer positioned himself as the most listened to artist on Spotify in Mexico, managing to surpass the Puerto Rican Bad Bunny. And in April, he became the Mexican with the most entries on the Billboard Hot 100 -with six songs-, and his song "Ella baila sola" peaked at number 4, the highest position for any Mexican artist in the United States.
