FNX Magokiler
Not all laptops are for gaming, and in fact we have often told you that the main characteristic of a laptop should be precisely that it is portable, that it allows us to use it anywhere. To do this, the device must be light and comfortable to carry from one place to another, and this is exactly what ASUS offers us with its new Zenbook S13, a laptop with the Intel EVO label that, although it weighs only 1 kg, offers us a remarkable performance and an incredible OLED screen. In this analysis, we tried it first hand and we tell you our impressions. We have already told you about Intel EVO, a kind of certification that guarantees us certain characteristics in a laptop or convertible in terms of size, performance or battery life. Obviously, this Zenbook S13 meets and exceeds all these features, all in a small and lightweight format that will make life easier for us to use the laptop anywhere. ASUS has decided to incorporate an Intel Core i7-1355U processor in this laptop, a 13th generation processor from Intel that incorporates 2 P cores and 8 E cores at a maximum speed of 5 GHz with a base consumption of 15W, and that integrates Intel graphics Iris Xe, so you will already assume that this laptop is focused on low consumption and high battery autonomy, something that we can already assume seeing that the included power adapter is 65W. Along with this processor, 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM at 5,200 MHz are incorporated, which in this case are soldered to the board and are neither expandable nor replaceable. It also has a 512 GB PCIe 4.0 SSD to ensure optimum performance for tasks that use your computer's storage. One of the most notable features of this Zenbook S13 is its 13.3-inch screen and OLED matrix for the best color reproduction. It has 2.8K resolution (2880 x 1800 pixels), with 0.2 ms response time, 60 Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness of 550 nits, with VESA HDR True Black 500 certification and 100% space coverage color DCI-P3. To highlight the fact that the screen is validated by Pantone. As for connectivity, the weak point of this type of ultra-portable device, the ASUS Zenbook S13 includes two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C, one USB-A 3.2 Gen 2, one HDMI 2.1 TMDS video output and one combo minijack output for 3.5mm for audio. It also has WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, HD webcam, harman/kardon sound and integrated microphone. Finally, its battery is 63WHrs, and according to the manufacturer it is capable of providing us with up to 14 hours of autonomy, a real outrage. In addition, in 49 minutes its fast charge will put the battery to 70%. Also noteworthy is its small size, just 1 cm thick at its thinnest part, and weighing only 1 kilogram, so it will be extremely comfortable to carry from one place to another. Unboxing and external analysis In the headline of this analysis we have announced that we are dealing with an ecological laptop, and this is evident from the packaging itself, consisting of the usual neutral-colored rectangular cardboard box but that in it we can see that even the handle or the seal they are cardboard On the front side, by the way, we do not find any information about the product except the logo of the Zenbook family. https://hardzone.es/reviews/portatiles/asus-zenbook-s13/
