One of the main symptoms of parasites in pets and that can alert you to carry out the appropriate treatment, are the following:

  • Frequent diarrhea.

  • Threw up.
  • Persistent itching in the anus.

How to avoid contagion of worms?
More than a medicine for the prevention of parasites, experts recommend creating deworming habits and permanent care of the elements with which the dog interacts.

  • Periodic deworming, every four or six months, in order to prevent parasites such as worms, fleas and ticks.
  • Cleaning of the elements with which he interacts on a daily basis, such as toys and vessels where they feed and drink water.
  • It is important to take care of the diet, so you should not consume any raw food, especially if it is viscera or meat, since they can be hosts for parasites.
  • Frequent medical tests -every 6 months- in order to prevent diseases such as anemia and help identify the presence of intestinal worms.

If you suspect that your pet has this type of parasite, it is best to go to the vet, so that they can prescribe the most appropriate treatment for your dog.
