The transformation of representation sedans into electric models is being a fairly widespread trend. After seeing the new Mercedes EQS and BMW i7, it was only a matter of time before an electric Audi A8 came onto the scene. Everything indicates that it will arrive next year 2024 and it will be a tough rival to crack for the other German contenders. The electric Audi A8 will be a technological benchmark and will use the largest version of the PPE platform. While there is talk that its design could be close to the one presented in the Grandsphere Concept, there are also some ideas about its propulsion system. As we said, it will be the most powerful in the range, being able to exceed 700 hp and leaving the RS e-tron GT behind. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h could be around 4 seconds to match other rivals. It will also be a car with which to travel, since with the 120 kWh lithium-ion battery it would have a range of more than 700 kilometers.

Carrying the PPE platform, it will have 800V technology and will support high charging speeds of up to 270 kW. They also promise exemplary dynamic behavior, with systems such as four-wheel steering or torque vectoring. The driving aids will be up to the task and will be more realistic, since the prototype was presented as a copy with level 4 autonomous driving. In short, 2024 will be a key year for Audi and with the electric A8 they will show how far they are capable of reach the level of technology, quality and performance.
