During Aloy's new adventure we can find an object that refers to The Last of Us: Part II.

El DLC de Horizon Forbidden West esconde un guiño a otro gran exclusivo de PlayStation

Since last week, Horizon: Forbidden West players have had the possibility of getting the DLC Burning Shores, an expansion of the main work in which Guerrilla Games tells us a new adventure of Aloy in a territory set in the city of Los Angels that hides a mystery behind.

However, the development studio has also had time to reference other great PlayStation games. In fact, the additional content has a nod to The Last of Us: Part II that users have noticed. Although it is nothing that is going to spoil the experience, we recommend that you do not continue reading if you want to discover it for yourself.

As we can see in the Reddit section corresponding to the game, user AlbusDumbldor teaches how a weapon from this additional Horizon: Forbidden West content is a Toy Bow that can be found in a specific area of the map. So far everything could be normal, if it weren't because this curious weapon refers to the bow we use with Abby in The Last of Us: Part II. Specifically, the character must use it during a specific minigame in the aquarium. You can see it below:

Our opinion of Burning Shores
If you want to know how our experience has been with the expansion of Horizon: Forbidden West, which is only available on PS5, we encourage you to take a look at the analysis of Burning Shores carried out by our colleague José Ángel Mateo, who considers which is recommended addition for the players of the main work:
"The health of the Horizon franchise is in a great moment, not only at the sales level, but it is one of the best exclusive experiences that PlayStation users can enjoy. Maybe Kratos has more history, and maybe The Last of Us has jumped into the mainstream with its series on HBO, but Horizon is a first-rate saga and even a DLC like Burning Shores proves it."
