Some of his most remembered hits are: "Borracho", "Españolear", "Hermano" or "Mi Mañica". He was born in Valencia in 1932. He started working at a very young age to help his family, although he was always a fan of dancing and singing and at the age of 13 he enrolled in a music academy to obtain his professional singer's license. He performed on several occasions in his hometown and at the age of 18 he was offered a contract for a nightclub in Tangier. Although it was in Barcelona where he developed artistically with the RCA record company. His first album was a success throughout Spain.
