#Steeven.™ Posted April 24, 2023 Posted April 24, 2023 Sony confirmed yesterday in a podcast that it is also preparing animated series or movies of its video game franchises. Several weeks have passed since HBO's The Last of Us series ended, and in the end the production has turned out to be a complete success. For all this, many users have wondered about the rest of the video games that they will adapt to the big screen. So far there are confirmed several series and movies from Sony that will reach both theaters and streaming platforms. One of the aspects that we did not know until now is that PlayStation Productions is preparing animated adaptations of the great video game franchises. Currently it is not known which sagas will be animated, but we can assume that Gravity Rush could be one of them, since it has already been officially confirmed that they are working on a movie. From here, fans will theorize and imagine what franchise will be animated, but at least the head of PlayStation Productions, Asad Qizilbash, has pointed out on the official podcast that there is "a bit of animation" within the video games they are adapting, as they pick up from Push Square. After all, PlayStation has more than enough studios to tackle this type of project, as Sony Pictures Animation is in charge of Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse, although we can't forget about Aniplex and Crunchyroll either. What animation projects could PlayStation adapt? Before we have mentioned Gravity Rush as one of the possible animated productions that would arrive. While it is true that it fits a lot with the style of the video game, we still need confirmation from PlayStation. On the other hand, another of Sony's great projects that nothing is known about yet is Rachet and Clank, as an animated series or movie would make a lot of sense. Nor can we forget about other interesting PlayStation sagas that have been somewhat missing, such as the Jak and Daxter franchise. You also have to remember Little Big Planet or Sackboy, and even Sly too. All these projects could come one way or another, but it all depends on Sony and its predisposition. https://www.3djuegos.com/tv-series/noticias/playstation-tiene-arma-secreta-para-volver-a-conquistar-gran-pantalla-como-ha-hecho-the-last-of-us 1
