Draeno
Mario Kart Tour, one of the few official games that Nintendo's famous plumber has on mobile phones, is about to release a new update at the end of September. And, after its launch almost three years ago, this new season will bring with it the removal of one of its most criticized features: the gacha ball machine. This section of the racing title is a pipe system that players can use to enter their rubies (the game's currency) and receive a prize that can range from a driver to a kart, passing through gliders or other accessories. This is one of the most questioned tools, as it is reminiscent of a slot machine that gives random prizes, although it is true that it never gives repeated rewards. For this reason, Nintendo has decided to eliminate this form of monetization and replace it with its Spotlight Shop. Until now, to get all the collectibles you needed to do 100 spins on the pipes, which costs 450 rubies (about 247 euros if you get them with real money). Now, the player will be able to directly choose and buy them, and the most difficult to obtain items and characters will be more expensive. In addition to this significant change, Mario Kart Tour has reported that it will add a new Battle mode, which looks like it will be similar to classic Mario Kart's balloon battles. https://www.20minutos.es/videojuegos/noticia/5049897/0/mario-kart-tour-elimina-de-su-juego-la-maquina-tragaperras-que-daba-premios-aleatorios-y-lo-sustituye-por-una-tienda/
