Noctua has shown its NH-U14S DX-4677 cooler in action, cooling Intel's 56-core Xeon W9-3495X at full load with 700W power consumption.

While AiO (all-in-one) liquid cooling systems are very po[CENSORED]r these days, Noctua aims to prove that air coolers are more than capable of handling even the highest-end CPUs, even under continuous load and without thermal throttling.

While the video doesn't show all the details of the CPU configuration, it's still an admirable feat, especially when you consider the high power consumption, which suggests that the CPU was pushed well beyond its configuration for the demo. default.

The rig packs the aforementioned 56-core Intel Xeon W9-3495X CPU, running on an ASUS Pro WS W790E-SAGE SE motherboard with SK Hynix DDR5 EC8 RDIMMs, and powered by the Seasonic PX-1600 power supply.

Note that the Noctua NH-U14S DX-4677 is a robust CPU cooler with a large copper base, eight copper heatpipes, and a large aluminum heatsink. It is designed specifically for Intel's LGA4677 socket Xeon CPUs, and weighs 1136g with fans. It comes with two Noctua NF-A15 HS-PWM fans that spin from 300 to 1,500 RPM and provide 140.2 m³/h of airflow at 24.6 dB of noise.

While the video doesn't show the full details of the CPU settings, it's still an impressive feat, especially considering the high power consumption, which suggests the CPU was pushed well beyond its default settings for the demo. The configuration includes Intel's aforementioned 56-core Xeon W9-3495X CPU, running on ASUS Pro WS W790E-SAGE SE motherboard with SK Hynix DDR5 EC8 RDIMM and powered by Seasonic's PX-1600 power supply.
