[Auto] Colombian driver Sebastián Montoya achieved his first podium in FIA Formula 3

ebastián Montoya, driver of the Escudería Telmex Claro, achieved his first podium in the 2023 FIA Formula 3 championship, in the Sprint race, at the Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit, in Melbourne, Australia.

The Colombian Hitech GP and 17-year-old Red Bull junior driver, who started in first place because the category uses an inverted grid to define the start in the first race, had a great launch to keep the lead in the first turn. On turn four, and still leading the race, he pulled the hairpin at turn 13 to escape down the road. On the sixth lap, Argentine Franco Colapinto used the DRS to overtake Sebastian and Sebastian, after holding out in second position for several laps, was passed by Briton Zak O'Sullivan on the penultimate lap.

The race ended under Safety Car with victory for Colapinto, followed by O'Sullivan and Montoya in third position. With this result, the pilot Claro added eight more in the classification and is in ninth with 11 units.
