[Auto] Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio 100° Anniversario: a century of history in one car

Alfa Romeo is one of the manufacturers with the longest tradition in competition. In fact, just a century ago they made their debut with one of their hallmarks at the 14th Targa Florio. The four-leaf clover or "Quadrifoglio" was present in the RL Corsa that won the race. Since then it has become an institution and to celebrate it they are now launching the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio 100° Anniversario. It is a special edition loaded with specific details and is available on a very limited basis.

On an aesthetic level it is easy to recognize, since it mounts the new adaptive Full-LED matrix headlights and striking 19-inch burnished wheels, which hide golden brake calipers. You cannot miss the emblem to celebrate the 100 years of the Quadrifoglio or some exposed carbon fiber parts, such as the grill and the mirror housings. The bodywork is available in the colors Rosso Etna, Verde Montreal and Nero Vulcano.

The interior of the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio 100° Anniversario also has some nods to the competition, with a new steering wheel that sports the four-leaf clover in a carbon trim that matches the center console. On the dashboard it has an inscription of the 100th anniversary and maintains the benefits already known. It mounts the latest 12.3-inch digital instrumentation and the Evolved, Relax, Heritage and Race configurations. What could not change is that 2.9-liter biturbo V6 engine that is the hallmark of the model.

Now it reaches 520 CV of power thanks to some improvements and has the Akrapovich exhaust system and the mechanical self-locking differential as standard. That can only mean that this version derives from the powerful Giulia GTA and that it will offer behavior at the level of very few. It is the perfect way to pay tribute to the centenary of this icon so focused on competition, although it will be within the reach of very few lucky ones.

The Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio 100° Anniversario will have a limited production of 100 units (it could not be another number) and its price has not yet been revealed.
