Ellie rose to fame after reaching the top of the "BBC Sound of 2010" and winning the Critics Choice Award at the 2010 BRIT Awards. In late 2009, she signed with 'Polydor Records', after which she released her first EP entitled An Introduction to Ellie Goulding. In 2010 she released her first album, Lights. The album was re-released in 2010 under the title Bright Lights. In 2012 she released a new studio album, Halcyon. The latest album (third studio album) "Delirium" was released on November 6, 2015. Born in Hereford, Great Britain, on December 30, 1986, daughter of Arthur and Tracey Goulding. Ellie is the second of four children. She was educated at Lady Hawkins School in Kington, Herefordshire and Sixth Form College Hereford, before moving on to the University of Kent, where she was advised to take a year off in order to exercise her talent.
