  Also known as "The Doll with the Witch's Eyes". She was a very po[CENSORED]r Puerto Rican actress and singer in Spain in the mid-seventies, when she recorded several albums for the Columbia record company.

  She was born on June 7, 1948 in New York. As soon as she finished her studies, Nydia was very clear about what she wanted to do, which was to study singing, dance and acting at the New York School of Performing Arts. Her first, she debuted as an actress in a play for NBC and soon after she began her professional career in music. In 1967 the Tico label produced her first album, "Dímelo tú".

  In 1973 she won third place at the Benidorm Festival with the song "Vete ya" by Julio Iglesias.

  She enjoys po[CENSORED]rity in Spain and Latin America. Until recently, she has continued to collaborate on various soap operas.
