[News] Blue Protocol, Bandai Namco's online action RPG, presents its animation sequence

Bandai Namco has unveiled the opening animated sequence for Blue Protocol, a massively multiplayer online action role-playing game that has garnered a lot of attention from the very beginning for the quality of its anime visual style. The project developed by Bandai Namco Online fell out of the public eye in April 2020, when a closed test was conducted in Japan. During the last The Game Awards event, a trailer was shown confirming its launch in Spain and the rest of the West in the second half of 2023 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

Blue Protocol is an action RPG set in a future -but not futuristic- world that is threatened by the awakening of a monster. Players will have to discover the world of Regnas (halfway between the technological and the medieval, since it has gone through millennia of conflicts), unravel its past and avoid its destruction. The story that is structured with missions that can be completed solo or cooperatively. There will be exclusively multiplayer content, such as boss fights and some missions.

The Bandai Namco Online title (responsible for the hero shooter Gundam Evolution and the music game IDOLiSH7) co-developed with Bandai Namco Studios will allow players to express themselves playably and aesthetically. You will be able to choose between five classes (Iron Warden, Dual Warrior, Clever Walker, Elemental Sorcerer and Deadly Ravager) and hundreds of combat abilities with the powers of creatures called Echoes. Also, the character editor promises to be ambitious.

Amazon Games will be in charge of distributing in the West
