The Xbox Remix Special Edition wireless controller will go on sale in Spain from April 18, made with recycled materials.

Xbox Series X and S and PC players have a multitude of Xbox controller options available on the market. To date, we have seen how controllers with very particular designs have been put up for sale, but this time we are not only here to talk about the design of the Xbox Wireless Controller Special Edition Remix, the new controller, but also about its construction.

Microsoft has announced that this new controller will join the Xbox family this month, and can be reserved now through the official website. But what's so special about this Remix Special Edition controller? Well, it is created from granulated and recycled materials. Specifically, a third of its construction comes from recovered plastics that would otherwise end up as garbage.

Each controller is different
The controller features post-consumer recycled resins and colored parts pre-molded from leftover Xbox One generation controllers, leaving us with a very curious look: each controller has its own unique look and feel, with subtle variations, markings and textures but with colors in earth tones. In this way, Xbox reinforces its commitment to the environment, exploring new ways to reduce waste and use less new plastic.

The Xbox Wireless Controller Remix Special Edition can be found in the Microsoft Store at a price of 84.99 euros, although a rechargeable battery pack is included in the purchase to avoid using disposable batteries. In Spain it will be available from April 18, before International Earth Day is also celebrated during this month.
