As we already said, the Netflix video game catalog is relegated to the mobile platform on Android and iOS. Although at the moment it is only a track and not a functionality announced by Netflix.
Specifically, there is a message alerting that a controller is necessary for Netflix games on a television, using an iPhone for it. This a priori tells us that the option that the iPhone could serve as controls for the games would be being explored, but it leaves some doubts in the air.
The first is whether these games will run on the iPhone and be sent to the television via AirPlay or if, on the contrary, they will be one hundred percent native games from television systems such as Android TV, tvOS, WebOS, Tizen and company that require an external element. with which to control it. The second option makes all the sense in the world if we take into account that television controls seem like accessories that are not suitable for video games.
