Dogs also want to communicate their emotions through their barking.

For dogs, barking is a way to communicate with other dogs, animals, or humans themselves; and even if you think that all their sounds are the same, they are not, because they also vary their volume and intensity and seek to express themselves.

In other words, dogs can bark for different reasons, it all depends on the environment and the stimuli they perceive. They will do it in different ways and with different body expressions, so it will be up to you to identify if it is fear, anger, desire to play or hunger, according to specialists.

WHY DO SOME PEOPLE BARK AND NOT OTHERS?
The first thing to do to try to analyze what your dog is trying to communicate is to observe the context in which the barking occurs. With this base, you will better understand what he wants to express to you.
It is worth emphasizing that their repetitive barking could be because they want to indicate that the person who approaches them likes or not. It will be necessary to observe the body attitude of the dog when emitting the sounds and it is also important to look at the attitude of the person to whom the animal dedicates its barking.

According to what the Ámbito portal collects from the words of the Spanish veterinarian Felipe Vázquez Montoto, “the same thing happens to dogs as to people. There are people you like better and others you like worse. Well, the same to them. Canines don't like people, so to speak."

Going even deeper into the subject, the veterinarian explains that there are determining factors on the perception of dogs about the subject: “Why does he do it? Because he can obey smells, the way he walks, the way people express themselves, their body expression… ”.

To conclude, Vázquez comments that these animals are very territorial and that there are simply times when they bark at others because they feel that they are invading their "security zone." Finally, another reason that can be related to these attitudes on the part of dogs has to do with some traumatic experience with that person, which can also include fear or anger.
