The Aprilia RS 660, the best-selling sports bike in Europe, has achieved great success. Starting in April, the RS 660 Extrema will hit the market, which continues the legacy of the Aprilia 125 Extrema, manufactured between 1992 and 1994.

The RS 660 Extrema surprises with its curb weight of 166 kg. Thus setting a new milestone in terms of weight/power, it delivers 100 CV, a record figure in its category. This great improvement is realized thanks to its special standard equipment that includes, a new, lighter SC Project exhaust system, with a carbon fiber muffler positioned on the right side (not under the engine), totally legal for the street. In addition, this upgrade includes the silencer support, made of black anodized aluminum. This allows the passenger footrests to be removed, with the consequent reduction in weight. Also contributing to the overall lightening of the RS 660 Extrema are the front fender and the new keel, made of high-quality carbon fiber.

Its extreme sporty nature is accentuated thanks to the elegant design of the rear axle, with the possibility of replacing the passenger seat with a single-seater tail. Something that bikers who decide to enjoy their RS 660 Extrema in company should not worry about, since it maintains its two-seater homologation.

If the RS 660 already had rich electronic equipment (including traction control, cornering ABS, engine brake and anti-wheelie, all adjustable). The RS 660 Extrema integrates software that allows you to configure the quickshifter with the gear reversed. Therefore, it means that the gearbox can be configured completely autonomously, without replacing any component of the motorcycle, in a street or competition version, perfect for riding on the track. Its new decoration means that it does not go unnoticed, with an unmistakable sports inspiration.

The RS 660 Extrema is capable of providing emotions in sporty driving in the hands of expert pilots, but at the same time accessible and fun even in daily use in the hands of new motorcyclists. It will be available for 13,849 euros plus registration fees.
