Draeno Posted February 24, 2023 Posted February 24, 2023 It seems that a bug in the Windows update system is causing users with computers that do not support the new Microsoft operating system to see how they are offered an update to Windows 11. However, this seems to be a bug, and even if we accept the update, it will not be installed due to the checks that exist. This does not seem to be intentional, since Microsoft has not modified the Windows 11 system requirements despite the great amount of criticism it received, especially in view of the TPM 2.0 requirement, which very few computers have, and those that do have it are almost by chance, by being part of the platform on which they are. As we read in Windows Central, one of the users affected by this bug has a school computer that can barely run Windows 10, and it is true that with 2GB of DDR3 RAM and an old 1.12GHz processor, it is difficult to imagine that any heavy operating system can work properly. Be that as it may, hopefully Microsoft will fix this problem soon, as it may have been reusing the same tool that caused millions of users to see their computers being forced to upgrade to Windows 10, no matter what happened next. https://www.geeknetic.es/Noticia/27825/Windows-11-se-esta-ofreciendo-en-equipos-que-no-lo-soportan.html Quote
