[Politics/Economics] Price of the dollar in Colombia today, February 14: exchange rate and value in Colombian pesos

This Tuesday, February 14, the price of the dollar in Colombia is quoted at $4,818.62 Colombian pesos , which represents an increase compared to the report of February 13 ($4,777.73) . The currency presents an increase of 0.86%, as indicated by the Bank of the Republic on its website, reaching the highest level since January 10 of this year ($4,885.66).

The TRM increased by 23% (901.1 pesos) unlike the same day in 2022, in addition, it presents an increase of 2.66% (124.63 pesos) compared to the same day in December. According to the Banco de la República, the representative exchange rate of the market (TRM) is the amount of Colombian pesos for one United States dollar.

The Colombian Financial Superintendence is the only entity that studies, calculates and certifies the values of foreign currency in our country , based on currency purchase and sale operations between financial intermediaries that trade in the Colombian market.
