FNX Magokiler
In a few more weeks, the new Jeep Renegade will be launched in Chile, presented in Brazil in mid-2022 and defined by the brand as a new generation, despite maintaining the same platform and dimensions, and there are no dramatic changes in the design either. The highlight of the model is that the old 1.8 eTorq aspirated gasoline engine is joined by the new T270, a 1.3-liter four-cylinder engine, with turbo and direct injection, which delivers 175 Hp and 270 Nm of torque, and which will be exclusively mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. According to the homologation in the 3CV of Chile, this engine offers 9.5 km/liter in the city and a mixed of 13.0 km/l. The brand indicates that both the response of the power steering and the independent Multilink suspension have been improved for greater grip in curves, greater ride comfort, better articulation and a reduction in the effect of uneven terrain inside the passenger compartment. In Chile, only the Sport and Longitude versions will be offered, both with simple traction (there is no news about the Trailhawk 4x4), but the second incorporates the "Jeep Traction Control+", a system that, in the event of a loss of traction on one of the wheels, will activates the ABS and redistributes the torque to the other wheel to improve grip, simulating an effect similar to that of a differential lock. design changes If we talk about the exterior, it maintains its quadriform silhouette so representative of the brand, and shows a redesign of the headlights and grille, as well as the front and rear bumpers, which are inspired by the new Compass and Commander. Let's see the front: the grille continues to maintain the seven slots and the headlights are still circular, but now they are standard Full Led for all versions (when the indicators are activated the entire ring lights up), further highlighting their integration into the grille . The front bumper is more robust and frames the fog lights, also LED. The brand indicates that its new design improves the angle of attack. At the rear, new headlights with the significant “X” inherited from the old Willys are released. On the sides there are new designs of 17'' (Sport) or 18'' (longitude) alloy wheels, and the brand offers a total of seven color options (there is no bicolor in any of the versions that will be offered in Chili). Inside there is a first novelty: the premiere of the Jeep Healthy Cabin, technology that removes particles from the air and eliminates impurities by up to 83%. It is the first Jeep equipped with a cabin filter in N95+ bio. https://noticias.autocosmos.cl/2023/01/09/las-novedades-que-traera-el-jeep-renegade-2023
