Faced with this emergency, the National Disaster Prevention and Response Service (Senapred) decreed a yellow alert for the commune of San José de Maipo due to a forecast of a thunderstorm and rainfall for the early hours of this Tuesday in pre-Andean sectors of the Metropolitan Region.

 

 

Likewise, the institution indicated that the 49 isolated people are in good condition.

"With the declaration of the yellow alert, the necessary resources will be prepared in stages to intervene according to the evolution of the event, in order to prevent it from growing in extent and severity, minimizing the negative effects on people, their property and the environment. environment," Senapred said.
