FNX Magokiler
Although Subaru cars are recognized for their high performance, there is a factor that distinguishes them from their competitors, that all their models are always equipped with an all-wheel drive system. For the same reason, the Japanese brand brings out its best tablecloths to celebrate 50 years of using its all-wheel drive system in its vehicles. As part of these celebrations, there is also the premiere of the new Crosstrek (the "ex XV") but as expected, other models will also join the party. In this case, we are talking about the return of the XT variant for the Subaru Forester, which is also powered by a turbo engine exclusively used for the Japanese market, although it is far from being a "Forester WRX" as the previous XTs were. As a curious fact, the first Subaru to use the aforementioned all-wheel drive system was the Leone Estate in 1972. What are the distinctive elements of the Subaru Forester XT Edition? It is based on the Sport version of the Subaru Forester. It has a Geyser Blue body color, which is offered for the first time in Japan and comes from the model sold in North America with the Wilderness trims. It has several elements in black: grille, mirror covers, the lower zone of the bumpers, spoiler, cargo rails and more. The 18" wheels also come in black. The interior looks more sporty than luxurious. This includes aluminum-colored accents or chrome elements, as well as a mixed upholstery that combines sections of leather with fabric cushions. The absence of the multimedia system is striking. This is very normal in Japan, where the multimedia system is offered as part of a package that most buy, but if you don't need it, you can also order it with the black cover so you can put the system you want. Courtesy lighting has also been upgraded to higher intensity LED bulbs. In terms of safety, it has the ADAS EyeSight assistance package and a rear-view mirror with a digital camera as standard. The cargo area has a new water repellent cover, so you can load a snowboard, hiking boots or skis. Under the hood is an engine that is not equipped in other countries. This is the CB18 DIT (turbo and direct injection) unit, a four-cylinder boxer engine developed to replace the aspirated 2.0 and 2.5 units. Delivers 177 Hp and 300 Nm of torque. Of course, it is associated with the brand's AWD system and a Lineartronic CVT automatic gearbox. At the exchange rate, the Forester XT Edition will be offered at a price equivalent to $25,419 dollars. If only this engine would reach other markets... https://noticias.autocosmos.cl/2023/01/03/subaru-trae-de-regreso-a-la-forester-xt-en-japon
