[Auto/Moto] Thrombia Free: the idea is good, the name so-so. It's all "trash"

n the automotive sector, as we well know, when a  new car model  comes out, the manufacturer chooses a new name to distinguish it from the others. In fact, if we think about it, only thanks to the names that are given to cars can they be recognized over the years as big stars , or, as bins that marked that model, as the worst of that historical period .

Over the years, you have certainly heard thousands of names and nicknames that are “ different from the usual ” and one of these that can certainly arouse curiosity is that of the Finnish company Trombia Technologies which designed the robotic street sweeper Trombia Free . 

The latter was designed to modernize the cleaning of public streets and according to the company, the robot uses 90% less energy and 95% less water than ordinary street sweepers. Furthermore, the robot would also be able to remove PM2.5 dusts and with a 34.2 kWh lithium-ion battery , it is able to offer non-stop cleaning of 8.5 hours or up to 5 hours using the high power.

Since the name doesn't " sound " so well in the Italian language, I wondered if this name had any kind of meaning in Finnish and trivially, like when you don't know a word in English , I tried to use the classic Google Translate . The result? The search brings back a much more explicit word for the Italian language and if you want to have a laugh, I suggest you try to translate the word " Trombia " from Finnish into Italian. 

Finally, if the company were to turn to the Italian market , there could be two scenarios. The first, more trivial in my opinion, is to change the name of the robot sweeper and perhaps not arouse interest and the second, certainly more risky , to keep the same ambiguous name in the hope of arousing a lot of interest until (perhaps) reaching the level of " trash ".
