Jeannette Jara addressed the readjustment in the midst of the paralysis of prosecutors.

She also said that La Moneda is working on "some measures that could help the po[CENSORED]tion next year" in economic matters, and asked that "self-lending" of pension funds not "seek to hide another type of withdrawal."

The Minister of Labor, Jeannette Jara, referred to the readjustment of the public sector approved this Wednesday by the Chamber of Deputies, which granted 12% to salaries up to $2.2 million and $264,000 for salaries above that amount.

In dialogue with Radio Cooperativa, the minister said that "there are no public officials excluded from the readjustment, with the exception of high authorities; what there is is a fiscal box that has refractions."

"The crisis has not only reached public workers but the entire country, and understanding this situation, the Executive has made this effort available," Jara said.

 

 

The statements of the head of Labor occur in the midst of the paralysis of the Association of Prosecutors who accused having been excluded from the readjustment.

In other matters, Jara addressed the economic aid in which the Executive is working, and said that "we are working on some measures that could help the po[CENSORED]tion next year, but that is in full design."

Ella jara also referred to the pension reform and stated that "at different salary levels, the general conclusion is that taking that 6% from the employer to social security is far more convenient than taking it to individual capitalization."

The minister also addressed the debate on the self-loan of pension funds that will be given in Congress and said she hoped that under this figure "no other types of withdrawals are sought to be hidden."
