 the last few weeks, as we told you on Automoto.it, a Porsche has been sighted several times that seems to be the future electric 718 Boxster and today, the German was once again spied on the snowy roads of Sweden . Porsche's future roadster continues its various tests and in recent days it has been spotted in Sweden, near the Arctic Circle , with temperatures around -25 degrees . The German company, as announced a few months ago, has stated that the third electric model and the first electric two-seater will be the next 718 Boxster and Cayman. The arrival of the electric futures should be expected towards the end of 2024 and a year later, the Macan EV should also arrive . According to the latest rumors, Porsche's future roadster should be based on the Mission R concept , which promised around 1,088 hp in qualifying trim and 626 hp in race trim. The latter would be equipped with a 626 HP rear engine and a 429 HP front engine and according to the latest rumors, the future Boxster could initially inherit only the Mission R rear engine, with less power than the concept (probably around to 300-400 HP) and later, it could be offered with four-wheel drive and probably develop almost double the power. As we well know, in the near future the new Tesla Roadster should arrive on the market , capable of developing more than 1,000 HP , being able to reach a speed of over 400 km/h and being able to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.1 seconds , according to the American company. It will not be surprising if the future German roadster will arrive before the American house and if the latter ever arrives, who knows if the electric Boxster will ever be able to compete with it in the event that Porsche decides to offer an extremely performing version like the Mission concept R.
