TSA discovers cat inside suitcase at airport

It turns out that Smells the cat has a lot to be thankful for.

First, there was its newsworthy rescue by Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officials, who saw the poor feline's silhouette in a suitcase as it passed through an airport X-ray security check. .

The orange cat, who apparently got into a suitcase filled with bottles, wine glasses and a pair of flip-flops, was thankfully uninjured.

Now, Smells is being pampered after the ordeal.

TSA posted a tweet earlier this week showing Smells sitting in front of a delicious-looking Thanksgiving dinner.

 

 

The tweet reads: "Smells, the cat that @TSA recently rescued from a checked bag at @JFKairport after it slipped into a suitcase in an attempt to fly to Orlando, enjoyed Thanksgiving at his home in Brooklyn.

Smells was apparently planning to chase down a large mouse that he heard was running around Disneyworld."

And it was a complete success for Smells.

Not only was the cat presented with a large plate of food, with what appeared to be green beans and mashed potatoes with a generous helping of gravy, but a good glass of red wine also accompanied the feast.

However, Smells seems to be somewhat indecisive, perhaps he had more of a mouse craving.
