-_-Moltres-_- Posted December 8, 2022 Posted December 8, 2022 the German company has declared that it will invest 460 million euros in its Wolfsburg plant to add the ID.3 sedan and a new electric SUV that has the same dimensions as the current Tiguan . The SUV should use a new electric platform called MEB+ (an evolution compared to the current one), which will allow for a higher charging speed and longer autonomy . The car will probably use the unified cell that the house will produce in the factory in Salzgitter from 2025 . However, to date Volkswagen has not given a timeline for the production of the new SUV (probably from 2025 onwards), however it has stated that its new platform will allow a range of up to 700 km and a DC charging speed of 175- 200 kW. Finally, to improve the utilization capacity of the plant, the German company will also add the ID.3 in production. The latter will begin partial production as early as next year and the completion of the chain will be completed by 2024 . https://www.automoto.it/elettrico/volkswagen-700-km-per-la-nuova-elettrica-simil-tiguan.html
